A bold statement with modern refinement with timeless appeal! “People may laugh at me because I look different, but I laugh at them because they all look the same!” This Gibson light dusky plum purple two piece suit is complimented with a custom made Victorian inspired floral patterned and designed waistcoat. Both the gold buckled belt and the pair of boots, are blue Chinchilla coloured leather from RM Williams, both iconic Australian inspired and made. The hat is a grey woven poly straw Hills Hats that has been carefully and lovingly restored by Carrion Hats. As the two piece suit colour, light dusky plum purple, is the hero look of this outfit the suit jacket lapel pin hole is a simple but elegant silver leaf pin. The silk pocket square has a combination of different coloured light grey and light purple patterns in it. The cutaway collared white shirt is accessorised with silver grey, white horse cufflinks. The tie is solid semi dark purple in colour, tied with a full Windsor tie knot, with a silver cutaway scimitar sword designed tie bar. A ‘less is more’ look! This plum purple coloured overall look is in combining timeless style with modern versatility and colour. Additionally, "plum" can refer to something desirable or excellent, such as a "plum job". I, Paul Johnston, completed 30 years in the Australian Defence Force. Fashions On The Field On The Field (FOTF) has given me purpose after Defence life to want to maintain a look that’s clean and sharp, projecting confidence, thus this in turn helps with maintaining my mental health.
