This Indigenous fabric by Warlukurlangu artists caught my eye while visiting Darwin last year. The bright, bold colours and pattern are very striking and represent Budgerigar Dreaming. The sites of the ceremonies are depicted in the painting as concentric circles while the cross like shapes represent the birds' footprints on the ground. The red feathered hat allows the dress to stand out while complimenting it.
