Danny moved to Melbourne 8years ago from UK. A regular at Ascot, he had to join the VRC and continue his love of racing. Now a regular at Flemington, he hopes he has his eye in for Sunday and can deliver a win

NAVY KING (1) steps up to the 2550m for the first time off the back of solid form, winning in a strongly run 2040m at Moonee Valley two back before fading very late for a narrow defeat there last time. The trip is an unknown but the stable are very good with their stayers and on class he'll go close. KARBURAN (4) is going okay this time in, not far away in a good BM78 two back at Moonee Valley before a disappointing effort as favourite last time. Best form sees him very hard to run down. THURMOND (9) is hard to knock having won three in a row, too strong in BM62 company at Bendigo last time. More depth here but is open to further improvement. HAALAND (11) has been right there his past two and this trip suits now. Needs another win but isn't hopeless. THE AUTUMN BELLE (8) was much better last start and a repeat of that has her thereabouts.
