Happy to side with the topweight here in BURMA STAR (1) who did more than enough first up here over 1100m down the straight behind the talented Legacy Bound. That was always going to be on the sharp side, he showed good ability here during Cup week and Lane will have him blending into the race at the right time. EXIT (11) has been tackling some of the top fillies of late, chasing Sheza Alibi & Sass Appeal her past couple. This is a fair bit easier, she can bounce back. WISE INLAW (6) comes through a handy race against the older horses when closing well., he maps beautifully here and should be peaking third up. CAFE AU LAIT (9) was dominant when last seen at Pakenham and has to be respected given the ease of that victory. CHOWDOWN (10) won his maiden fresh as favourite and profiles as if he can go on with it.

Very good return and this trip suits much better.

First up last campaign fourth of 8 at Caulfield 2yo Hcp July 26 over 1200m, soft track; 1.4 len behind Ole Dancer carrying 55.5kg at $4.60. Likely to need this one.
Third-up today and won third-up in the past. First-up 4th of 11 at this track 3yo F Hcp on February 28 over 1100m, 2.5 len behind Educated carrying 59kg at $26. Last start second last of 8 at Caulfield Vgold Distaff on March 14 over 1400m, 5.5 len behind Betwitchery carrying 55kg at $7. Very poor last time, needs to find her best.

Going the right way, respecting on an each way basis.
