What happened in Sydney
Godolphin’s Osborne Park to featured on the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour itinerary. The Australian private training facility invited members of the local community and schools to learn about the operation’s many facets, the thoroughbred industry and the history of the race that stops a nation™, the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
The morning gave attendees a broad insight into the industry and Godolphin’s muti-faceted operation. This included several educational activations which offered insights into the versatility of the thoroughbred breed, life after racing and the Godolphin Lifetime Care program – including a meet and greet with Godolphin Lifetime Care flagbearer and G1-winning fan favourite, Kementari.
Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions of an esteemed panel including champion jockey Darren Beadman, Godolphin Australia Head Trainer James Cummings and Godolphin Australia Managing Director Vin Cox.
Afterwards, Godolphin hosted a tour of its training facilities, offering access to the barns, bloodstock, private training track and gardens.
