A beautiful part of Victoria, Macedon is on the outermost fringe of Melbourne and home to Macedon Lodge which has produced many Melbourne Cup winners including Ethereal, Efficient, Green Moon and Almandin.

Nagambie is known for its waterways, fine wines, and its strong racing community, many would know that Nagambie is home to owner of multiple Melbourne Cup winners, Gerry Ryan, and of course the mighty Black Caviar.

The regional town of Boort is located in the Loddon Valley. A unique and wonderful town to explore that is blessed with rich natural beauty, friendly locals and a real sense of connection to its history and environment.

Ballarat
With links to the gold rush dating back to the 1800’s Ballarat is home to many Melbourne Cup winners. The current residence to the Maher-Eustace combination, trainers of last year's Melbourne Cup winner, Gold Trip, and the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup, Michelle Payne.

Queenscliff
A beautiful seaside location on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Queenscliff is home to Suma Park, a property dating back to the famous James Wilson who had strong connections with the Cup back in the 1870s and 1880s.

Bendigo
Bendigo has a long and illustrious racing history. The first Sandhurst Cup was run in 1854, a few years prior to the Melbourne Cup. Last year's Bendigo Cup winner High Emocean ran third in the 2023 Lexus Melbourne Cup.

Melbourne is of course home to the Melbourne Cup, first run in 1861.
