New for 2026, Fashions on the Field: The Remix presented by Rack It Club celebrates a fresh approach to race-day style, where creativity, individuality and conscious fashion take centre stage. Designed for those who see fashion differently, The Remix encourages entrants to reinterpret racewear through personal expression, innovative styling and thoughtful wardrobe choices.

Rewear champions circular fashion through vintage, archival and rental pieces.

Rework celebrates customisation, upcycling and creative reinvention.

Restyle recognises fresh perspectives on racewear, showcasing individuality and modern styling.

Closing out the 2026 Melbourne Cup Carnival in style on TAB Champions Stakes Day (Saturday 7 November), there are two opportunities to enter – Best Dressed: The Remix or Best Suited: The Remix.

Best Dressed: The Remix

Best Dressed: The Remix celebrates those who rethink traditional racewear through the principles of Rewear, Rework and Restyle.

Whether it's a vintage treasure, a rental look, an upcycled creation or a contemporary interpretation of race day fashion, the competition recognises entrants who bring originality, innovation and purpose to their style.

You can enter Best Dressed: The Remix on TAB Champions Stakes Day (Saturday 7 November). Throughout the day, entrants will take to the stage to share the story behind their look and showcase how they have reimagined race day fashion. Finalists will return for the Grand Final, where one entrant will be crowned the inaugural Best Dressed: The Remix winner.

Whether it's a vintage suit given new life, a thoughtfully tailored second-hand find, a creatively customised piece or a contemporary interpretation of classic suiting, the competition recognises originality, innovation and individuality in every look.
