Race Preview

Onto the first of our Group Ones. Very excited to see Coolmore winner TENTYRIS (10) back up against the older horses. He was outstanding on Saturday, weaving through the field and letting rip to score dominantly in fast time. We've seen the 3yo sprinting form hold up well with Tempted beating all bar Ka Ying Rising in The Everest, and Tentyris might just be the best of the lot. JOLIESTAR (6) comes through The Everest, not beaten far at all in fifth. Like the wide draw for her and she is the established class runner of the field. GIGA KICK (1) was back with a bang winning the G2 Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield, sitting back off a strong tempo and ripping home. His best is top notch and he hits this fresh on the scene. TROPICUS (5) was very good in the Schillaci on speed, kicking strongly as the others near him were beaten out of sight. Doubt he can win, but he can give some cheek. CABALLUS (3) was strong winning on Saturday, albeit in much slower time than Tentyris.
