Tricky race. DUCHESS ZOU (2) found her scenario last start at Sandown Hillside and capitalised, getting her preferred soft (bordering on heavy) ground and coming away from a handy position. Up a fair bit in the weights off that but will get a similar scenario here and is well placed to go on with it. FIRST CHORUS (4) is the interesting runner, backing up from an easy victory last week at Caulfield. She got into the best ground out very wide there but was far too good as a short priced favourite. Just a little niggle coming back to 1400m in seven days but she should go close. KHADIME (10) just missed the bob here second up in a good effort having won well first up at Seymour. She draws well and should take beating again. LOVELYCUT (6) was better on Wednesday and has claims if they back up quickly. THIS TIME GIRL (12) hasn't threatened her past couple but wasn't far away last time and can settle closer from a good draw now.
