Race Preview

Another race with a few angles. STARZINTHEIREYES (15) comes down from two good runs in NSW, home well in both runs under big weights, now dropping down to just 53kg third up from a spell. He's a lightly raced type who had shown ability overseas and looks ready to win. ZAHRANN (2) is an even higher rated import who got back in a very slowly run race here first up, catching the eye late with a big finish to grab fifth. Up to 2000m suits ideally, just wonder how big a start he'll give them again. SHOCKLETZ (10) was a touch disappointing second up at Sandown Hillside off a big run fresh at Bendigo but the track was tough that day and she can peak now. Don't love the inside draw but with a good ride she'll be hard to hold out. BRAVE MISS (13) has been close up in mare's Group company her past two and drops in weight here, expect she pushes on and takes catching. GHETTO SUPASTAR (18) was a surprise winner here last start but a repeat of it sees him right in the mix again.
