Race Preview

Looks another nice race for ROSA AOTEAROA (13) who has come back very well, winning both starts in good style. He worked early last start at Bendigo and proved too tough up on speed. This is harder but he drops in weight again and can measure up. SILVER MAGNATE (16) resumes. He's a lightly raced 5yo who did some good things last time in, hinting that he was a bit better than his form suggested. He can be flashing late. EL SOLEADO (1) resumes off a long spell. He finished a narrow second in this race last year under 61.5kg, beating subsequent stakes winner Marble Nine. He's huge odds here and might be worth something small. ROYAL INSIGNIA (4) struggled first up in the Wagga Town Plate but is absolutely up to this if he's at his best. GREAT MAXIMUS (2) is racing consistently and should be right there despite a jump in the weights.
