VALE STEVE RICHARDS
Another tricky one. ELOUYOU (4) will be hoping the track stays soft-heavy and will take plenty of beating if that's the case. Two runs back have been good, backing up from last week at Caulfield, out wide there as the winner saved all ground along the inside. Now gets to arguably his best trip of 1400m and will take plenty of catching. On the other hand, ROADCONE (8) probably wants the track to dry out a bit. He led and struggled late on shifty ground last start and could be forgiven. If we're on a soft 6 or better he can out-run his big early odds. SPIONE (9) went via the hotdog stand at Randwick last start as favourite which didn't work out, finishing sixth. His best form reads well for this and back to 1400m suits, look for him late. LAA DE SHA (6) can mix his form but is certainly good enough with each way claims. KAHHOF (14) wasn't beaten far fresh and can figure with improvement to come.
