As per our advice to members on Sunday 10 October, we are delighted with the Victorian Government's announcement that up to 10,000 patrons have been approved to attend Flemington for Lexus Melbourne Cup Day and, if the 80 per cent double-vaccination threshold is passed, also 10,000 patrons on both Kennedy Oaks Day and VRC Mackinnon Stakes Day.
We have been working closely with the Victorian Government over the course of this week to fully understand the event requirements for Melbourne Cup Carnival. We are in the final stages of confirming our event plan with the view to receiving approval from the Victorian Government and we are anticipating formally receiving this approval over the coming days.
Upon receiving Government approval, we will communicate to members the complete Melbourne Cup Carnival event offering and ticketing allocation process and we expect this to be early next week. As we are operating with a limited capacity of 10,000 patrons per day, the ticket allocation and process for members to secure access is being designed to ensure fairness for all financial members.

2021/22 membership ‘make good’
As communicated to members since the announcement of the membership make good for the 2021/22 racing season, today is the last day for members to submit their membership make good request. If we have not received your ‘make good’ request by 5pm, Friday 15 October 2021, your membership ‘make good’ will be acknowledged as a committed pledge to the Club.
