VRC Members can scan their Membership Card/Guest Pass barcode at the gates to gain access to General Admission and Members’ Reserve.

VRC Guests (without a Guest Pass) will be permitted on course and into the Members’ Reserve with the purchase of a General Admission ticket presented at the Race Day Office for a Complimentary Members’ Reserve Guest Pass (maximum of 2 per member).

SELECTED RACE DAYS

VRC members can access Moonee Valley Racecourse Member enclosures on selected race days.

VRC Members must pay racecourse admission and present themselves at the club’s Membership Information Booth Race Day Office with a current Full VRC Members Card. Members can also redeem a second complimentary Members guest pass for a guest who has paid the racecourse admission.

SELECTED RACE DAYS

VRC members will be able to purchase up to three visitor tickets (one for the member and up to two for guests) to enter the MCC Members’ Reserve for selected matches.

When purchasing a MCC visitor ticket, VRC members must quote the valid barcode number located on their membership card.

Access to the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club courts and clubhouse dressing facilities, on specified days, up to three times per year*

Access to dining during lunch, in the Racquet Club, up to three times per year.^

For tennis court and dining bookings, VRC Members must contact Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club reception between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday on (03) 9822 3333.

When you visit, VRC members simply need to report to the reception desk on arrival and present their VRC Membership Card.

*Tennis courts are available Fridays and Sundays after 3pm (except during the AgBioEn Classic Kooyong). Places are limited and subject to availability. Visitor fees apply.

Tier two entitlements

Ability to purchase GA/members tickets depending on the event type which can be found here.

On the race day you wish to attend, please present a valid Club Membership Card at the Australian Turf Club Race Day Office at the venue you are attending to acquire ticketing.

Show your current Financial Membership badge at the ticket seller booth at the main gate on arrival, pay 1x General Admission entry fee ($20.00*) and we will offer you 2x Members Day passes (Dress Regulations apply). Additional passes can be purchased on the day $45p/p.

Please call the club if you wish to purchase reserved seating in the Members lounge prior to attending (additional $15pp).

Members of the following major Metropolitan race clubs are entitled to reciprocal privileges as outlined below:

Feature race days: Reciprocal Members must pay racecourse admission and will receive two (2) complimentary access passes to the member facilities for the day. Photo ID and a current Member badge must be presented at the Administration Office PRIOR to feature race days to collect passes.

Non-feature race days: Reciprocal Members can obtain complimentary gate admission to non-feature race days so deemed by the Darwin Turf Club. Reciprocal members must present photo ID and a current members badge from the appropriate racing club at the administration building in exchange for a complimentary gate admission ticket.

NOTE: Due to the size of our facilities, on Great Northern Darwin Cup Weekend Saturday & Monday races, complimentary Member passes will provide access to the Members Lawn area only. Please contact the Darwin Turf Club on 8923 4222 or  membership@darwinturfclub.org.au to obtain the Reciprocal Privilege ticket booking form.

Major Carnivals

Tier 2 Members can purchase up to one (1) Member Reserve tickets at Members reduced price at the Box Office on presentation of their current Full Membership Card. Guest Cards are not eligible.

Feature Race Day and Carnivals

Tier 2 Members can purchase up to two (2) Member Reserve tickets at Members reduced price at the Box Office on presentation of their current Full Membership Card. Guest Cards are not eligible.

Saturday Raceday (non-feature)

Tier 2 Members are entitled to receive one (1) complimentary Member Reserve ticket on presentation of their current Full Membership Card at the Box Office. Members can also purchase up to three (3) additional Member Reserve tickets at the Member reduced prices at the Box Office on the day. Guest Cards are not eligible.

Visitors attending on standard race days are required to purchase General Admission tickets. They will then receive a Member for a Day pass which grants access to our exclusive Level 2 Members Area. Access to members exclusive bars, our members grandstand, and other membership privileges are included in this member day pass. The day pass allocated will only be valid for the day of purchase.

Non-Carnival/Non-Feature Race Days:

VRC Members attending Ladbrokes Park Elwick on Non-Carnival/Non-Feature Race days will enjoy the following reciprocal rights for the Member and a Guest:

• Free entry to Ladbrokes Park Elwick
• Access to the TRC Members Lounge
• Access to the Level 1 Function Centre, behind the glass

Feature Race Days:

VRC Members attending Ladbrokes Park Elwick, will need to contact the TRC at least 14 days prior to the race day to ensure availability in the TRC Members Lounge. Feature Race Days include:

• Caulfield Cup Day
• Melbourne Cup Day

If there is availability, VRC Members will enjoy the following reciprocal rights for the Member and a Guest:

• Free entry to Ladbrokes Park Elwick
• Access to the TRC Members Lounge

Hobart Cup Carnival Weekend:

VRC Members attending Ladbrokes Park Elwick for the Hobart Cup Carnival Weekend, will need to contact the TRC at least 14 days prior to the carnival as there are only limited Visiting Member Passes available for purchase.
The Carnival includes the following race days:

• Schweppes Tasmanian Derby Day
• Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Day

Hobart Cup Carnival Visiting Member Passes (for the Visiting Member and a Guest) are $75 per person, which includes:

• Entry to Ladbrokes Park Elwick for both days
• Access to the TRC Members Lounge for both days

Standard Race Day:

Carnival & Major Race Days:

Member & Member Guest can purchase a General Admission ticket(s) at the Gate. Upon gate entry please visit the Administration Office and pay the price differential entitling purchase of one Member Pass plus one Member Guest Pass. Alternatively valid Race Club Members can purchase Members Privilege Tickets online. All requests will be confirmed with your nominated Race Club before tickets are issued.

Application Process
VRC Members are eligible for reciprocal arrangements with the New Zealand clubs listed above, under the following conditions:

• VRC Member to pay racecourse admission
• VRC Member to present current Full Membership Card at the Secretary’s or Raceday Office of the host club
• Clubs may charge for reciprocal Members’ Enclosure tickets at their feature meetings
• Visiting Members may purchase up to two tickets for these fixtures

Visiting Members’ arrangements for non-feature meetings require the Member to sign for a members’ ticket free of charge, with the option to purchase one additional ticket.

Applications for reciprocal arrangements need to be made in writing at least 10 working days in advance to: membership@vrc.net.au

When applying to the VRC, please state race club, country, travel dates, race meetings, and name of any guest attending.

Contact will be made on your behalf to confirm reciprocal arrangements, costs and dress standards. Members will be notified via email or telephone.

We recommend that Members make contact with the international club prior to the race day to confirm arrangements.

Members are generally required to pay racecourse admission fees, and then proceed to the oncourse enquiry office to arrange privileges by presenting a current Full VRC Membership Card and/or introductory letter.

Please note that most clubs, during their carnival period or feature race days, enforce special conditions of entry and privileges offered to visiting Members.

Alternatively, visiting members are required to visit the ticket box office at any entry point around the racecourse on race day and purchase a Reciprocal Club ticket (s). When purchasing your ticket(s), interstate Club members will need provide proof of club membership.

Melbourne Cup Carnival Access

Interstate Racing Club members will have the ability to purchase a maximum of 2 full price guest passes tickets (1 for the member and 1 for a guest) across all 4 days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. If there are any additional guest passes required, these will be approved upon request.

Interstate members will be required to submit a letter of introduction from their Club to the VRC Membership department. VRC membership will then provide a unique code which reciprocal club members will be able to redeem via Ticketmaster.
