In 2022 we launched our inaugural VRC Member Advisory Group, welcoming a group of members to participate in sharing their ideas and thoughts on VRC Membership and experiences as a VRC Member.

What is the VRC Member Advisory Group?

The Member Advisory Group brings together a diverse mix of members to provide feedback, share ideas and help influence initiatives that enhance membership benefits, race day experiences and Club offerings.

2026/27 VRC Member Advisory Group

Throughout the season, Member Advisory Group members will participate in three facilitated advisory sessions, providing direct input on key projects and strategic initiatives. Members will also be invited to attend three Mingle with Members events, offering a new opportunity to connect with VRC staff and Directors while discussing the topics that matter most to the membership community.

Initiatives Shaped by the Member Advisory Group

The Member Advisory Group has played a pivotal role in helping the Club enhance membership experiences. By sharing their feedback, insights, and perspectives, the group has helped shape initiatives that address member needs and improve the overall experience for VRC Members.

Thanks to their input and discussions, we have implemented new initiatives designed to celebrate, recognise, and enhance the membership experience, including beer-only queues in the Furlong Bar, enhanced membership communications, the addition of new member products in the Birdcage, the Full Member Tenure Recognition Program, and Members Reserved Tables in select venues.
