The Racing Victoria veterinary services team is committed to protecting equine welfare and maintaining the integrity of the sport. Each race day, General Manager of Veterinary Services Grace Forbes and her dedicated team care for the health and welfare of the equine athletes.
World leading safety standards retained for 2024 Spring Racing Carnival
Following a review by a Racing Victoria working group and approval by the Board, Racing Victoria will uphold its safety standards for this year's Spring Racing Carnival, ensuring horse safety. Extra measures for international horses will also be introduced.
