The famous Flemington roses are a unique treasure to the racecourse and an iconic fixture of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Now is your chance to learn from Flemington’s very own ‘Keeper of the Roses’, Mick Ryan.
Join us for one of two interactive rose pruning workshops where Mick, and his team, will share their deep knowledge, passion, and clever tips and tricks on growing and sustaining this gorgeous flora. Members will also learn about the extensive preparation that goes into nurturing the Flemington roses ahead of Spring. These hands-on morning sessions are a must for budding gardeners and a wonderful opportunity to visit Flemington outside of a race day.
Members are also invited to share photos on the day of any wilting roses they may have at home that they’re not sure how to fix, and our Gardens team will try their best to help out.
SOLD OUT.
