Flemington was alive with a distinctly Christmas feel for our final race day of 2022. Festive activities and entertainment for everybody – Christmas-themed menus, photo's with Santa and amazing racing.
On the track, the $1 million Summer Sprint Series kicked off with the Listed Kensington Stakes (1000m).

Write a letter to Santa, get creative with Christmas arts and crafts, have your face painted, play games with Santa’s helpers, and for our Phar Lap Club members there’s an ice skating rink!
Becoming a Phar Lap Club member is easy! You can sign up your child (under 12) for free on the day or by downloading and completing the form.
Admire the festive décor throughout The Club Stand including a glittering Christmas tree in The Foyer, a free gingerbread with every coffee, a special photo opportunity with Santa and yuletide-themed cocktails and menus in the bars and restaurants!
Get truly into the festive spirit, with a live Christmas spectacular from Mike Snell and the Candy Canes on the rooftop after the last. Enjoy iconic Christmas Carols in the style of Macy’s Broadway Rockettes! Includes complimentary canapés.
After the last race, stick around on the Front Lawn for a Christmas singalong with all your favorites and special surprises for the kids!
New throughout the summer - a Punters Club for the public on the Front Lawn! Head outside Saintly Place to register before race 3 – just $10 cash to enter. Your expert tipster will provide the insights and hopefully a profitable afternoon. The fun will be guaranteed!
Living Legends Santa Ana Lane and Beauty Generation will be joining us on course for VRC Christmas Race Day. Be sure to catch them in the horse stalls throughout the day and parading in the Mounting Yard after races 2 and 4.
Head to the Saintly Sports Bar trackside for $5 large beef pies and fries, a variety of pub-style games such as pool, darts and foosball. Catch all the racing and sport on the big screens. With a full bar and food outlets, you might not want to leave!
