Interview: Steve Rosich chats to SEN ahead of VRC Christmas Race Day
CEO Steve Rosich spoke to SEN this morning about what’s on this Saturday at Headquarters for Christmas Race Day. He encouraged families to make it a day out for the kids, with Santa arriving in a horse and carriage, Christmas carollers and even an ice-skating rink on course.
With a five-week break since the Melbourne Cup Carnival concluded with a successful new Champions Stakes Day format, Steve outlined how the track has bounced back, and is ready to host some great races this weekend. These include the Listed Kensington Stakes and the Furphy Festive Sprint, where all eyes will be on Peter Moody’s Invincible Caviar, ridden by Jamie Kah who has returned from Hong Kong.
Christmas Race Day provides a great opportunity to bring the kids down to enjoy the wide expanses of Flemington on Saturday, lots on offer on and off course, with general admission just $20 and kids under 12 free.
