Melbourne Cup Carnival entertainment lineup announced for The Elms Live Stage

The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) is thrilled to unveil the spectacular entertainment lineup in the new Elms precinct across all 4 days of the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival with the incredible live music programme set to elevate this year’s racing festivities. The Elms Live Stage will host an extraordinary array of global and local music icons that racegoers and music fans can enjoy - all included in the price of a Flemington Pass (general admission entry ticket).

Howden Victoria Derby Day will feature a sensational performance by Australian rock legends and ARIA Hall of Fame members, ICEHOUSE.  With a career spanning over 45 years, ICEHOUSE, led by music icon, Iva Davies, is one of Australia’s most iconic bands, transcending age groups and loved by generations.  ICEHOUSE’S music continues to resonate with their global hit songs including their unofficial Australian anthem, Great Southern Land, Crazy and Hey Little Girl still dominating the airwaves.

On Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, racegoers can revel in the electrifying beats of PNAU with the Australian dance duo promising an unforgettable live performance including global smash hits Cold Heart and Chameleon after the race that stops a nation®.  PNAU will also amplify the crowd and build excitement with a special performance as part of the Nine Broadcast ahead of the arrival of the Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophy just prior to the great race.  Building the crowds energy ahead of PNAU will be Melbourne based DJ and record producer, CYRIL

Crown Oaks Day is set to be a highlight with a headline performance by British superstar Craig David Presents TS5.  It will be Craig’s only public performance in Melbourne in 2025.  Over his 25-year career Craig has become one of the most successful artists in UK chart history.  He has had a string of worldwide hits including Walking Away, 7 Days and Fill Me In.

Rounding off the week, the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival will come to a spectacular close with global DJ phenomenon FISHER performing on TAB Champions Stakes Day. FISHER, one of the world’s most in demand DJs and music producers will perform an electrifying and energetic DJ set as part of the Melbourne Cup Carnival Off the Rails party after the last race. 

For the first time ever, the racetrack past the Winning Post will be opened for the performance, giving more racegoers the chance to step onto the track and enjoy an unforgettable experience with global sensation FISHER.  Energising the crowd ahead of FISHER will be his regular support act and renowned Australian DJ, Little Fritter. 

VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers said The Elms lineup was sure to delight event goers and music fans.

“Regarded as the world’s most vibrant horse racing event, the Melbourne Cup Carnival is a uniquely Australian celebration of sport, fashion, food, culture and entertainment, The Elms is the perfect example of this,” Ms Rogers said.

“The Elms live stage will be the place for live music this November. With an exceptional lineup of local and international acts curated with the support of the Mushroom Group, all for the price of a general admission ticket, it’s set to be a spectacular Cup Week.”

All the action from the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival can be seen live and free across the Nine Network, the official broadcast partner and home of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
