All members must be financial for the 2026/27 racing season to access Melbourne Cup Carnival tickets. If you are yet to renew for the 2026/27 season, please visit the VRC Member Portal - My VRC,  or call the Membership Services Team on 1300 727 575.

For all bookable products, Members Dining, Reserved Tables, Car Parks, Members Enclosure Daily Guest Tickets and Reserved Seating, the following is required at time of purchase:

• A MyTicketmaster account: create one at ticketmaster.com.au if you don’t already have one, otherwise login and ensure your details are up to date including your credit card 

• A valid credit or debit card 

• The barcode number on the back of your VRC Membership card and any Annual Guest Cards 

• The barcode number/s of any other members or guest card holders within your group you are looking to book with 

Please note: Member barcodes are only eligible for use once per venue or space - either Dining, Reserved Tables, Reserved Seating or a Car Park site - for each day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

If securing tickets for Members Dining, Reserved Tables or Reserved Seating as a group, nominate one member to book on behalf of the group and please have ready the barcode numbers of any membership or annual guest cards you intend to use.

In addition to general admission access across all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, there are many options available for VRC Restricted & International Members. Please read the following information carefully so that you are well prepared for the upcoming on-sale and experience the best Melbourne Cup Carnival yet.

Members Enclosure access - Howden Victoria Derby Day and Lexus Melbourne Cup Day

Restricted & International Members can access the Members Enclosure on Howden Victoria Derby Day and Lexus Melbourne Cup Day by purchasing a Restricted Member Daily Ticket, at the Restricted Member prices below.

Victoria Derby Day                 $307pp

Lexus Melbourne Cup Day  $296pp

Members Enclosure access - Crown Oaks Day and TAB Champions Stakes Day

On Crown Oaks Day and TAB Champions Stakes Day, Restricted Members & International members can simply scan their VRC Membership card to access the course and the Members Enclosure, with no additional ticket required. 

Members Car Parks

Restricted & International Members can scan their VRC Membership card to access Car Parks (The Nursery*, The Rails Promenade and The Birdcage) on all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. 

Restricted & International Members can purchase The Rails Car Park Sites plus Pedestrian Passes for their guests on all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

*The Nursery is not available on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day.

Members Dining

Restricted & International Members can purchase Members Dining on Howden Victoria Derby Day and Lexus Melbourne Cup Day at the Restricted Member price.

On Crown Oaks Day and TAB Champions Stakes Day, Restricted Members can purchase Members Dining at the Member price.

Members Reserved Tables

Restricted & International Members can purchase Members Reserved Tables in select range of venues on Howden Victoria Derby Day and Lexus Melbourne Cup Day at the Restricted Member price.  

On Crown Oaks Day and TAB Champions Stakes Day, Restricted & International Members can purchase Members Reserved Tables at the Member price.  

The Members Carnival On-Sale will utilise Ticketmaster Smart Queue functionality which provides a fair and equitable process for all members when securing their tickets.

Members can visit the Ticketmaster webpage for their preferred option up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled on-sale time to join the waiting room – when you will need to select ‘Join Queue’.

Members are randomly allocated a place in the queue (this is not determined by the time in which you accessed the website) and subsequently provided access to secure their tickets depending on their place in the queue once tickets are on sale.
