The Central Western Slopes region includes such towns as Forbes, Condobolin and West Wyalong. This is also the region for the COWAL Mine where the gold came from for this year’s Melbourne Cup. We welcome the Evolution Mining people here today.

Event details

The Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour makes its way to Central Western Slopes, Sydney. First up, Forbes. On the agenda, a visit to Town Hall for a community event, before heading to the Jemalong Retirement Village for a Q&A and photo opportunity with the Cup trophy. Next stop, West Wyalong with a visit to the Evolution Cowal Gold Mine, before the Cup makes its way to the West Wyalong Cup Gala Dinner.
