Formerly known as the Furphy Deck, the newly named Kirin Ichiban 'First Press' Pavilion offers an elevated race day experience with unrivalled views of the famous Flemington Straight, Winning Post, and Front Lawn.

Enjoy exclusive access to betting facilities and all-inclusive food and drinks package to enjoy throughout the day.

Inclusions   

  • Elevated racetrack, Winning Post and city views
  • All-inclusive grazing menu served throughout the day
  • All day beverage package, including beer, wine, sparkling and soft drinks, with an extended beverage selection available to purchase
  • Selection of unreserved cocktail-style tables and chairs, and umbrellas throughout the venue
  • Live entertainment
  • Access to betting facilities
  • Racecourse admission and access to The Park – with headline music acts until after the last

Please note: This is an outdoor venue with a selection of umbrellas offering shade, however we recommend guests dress for Melbourne’s unpredictable weather.

  • Members are advised to bring their VRC Membership card on race day in addition to their purchased ticket to access the course and the Members Enclosure

Members who purchase a ticket and do not renew their membership for the 2025/26 racing season may have their ticket cancelled. For ticket purchases following the membership renewal date, members must be financial for the 2025/26 racing season prior to making a purchase.
