Flemington was in full swing on VRC Summer Fun Race Day, with a thrilling racing program and an afternoon of enjoyment for all. On the front lawn there was a hive of activity with the Phar Lap Club Teddy Bear Picnic and other activities for the kids. The racing was non-stop action, one highlight in the Black Caviar Lightning Race Day, 17 Feb (1100m) saw Sans Doute hang on to beat A Little Deep by a nose.

Kids' activities
Head down to the Flemington Family Lawn this summer for an array of games, crafts and activities for the kids to enjoy and a Mr. Whippy van selling delicious ice creams. There will also be lawn games and face painting available on the Members Lawn.
Live entertainment
Let your hair down and enjoy the music in The Club Stand! The Piano Man in the G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar and a DJ in The Roof Garden will keep the celebrations going from mid-afternoon until after the last.
VRC Punters Club
The Punters Club will be open in Saintly Place Sports Bar for everyone to enjoy! Add an extra thrill to the afternoon as the guest tipster brings the insights and hopefully a profit from the collective kitty. Entry is $10.

Saintly Place Sports Bar
The air-conditioned sports bar comes alive with bar sports, betting facilities, live racing on the TVs, refreshing drinks and takeaway food. Settle in or grab a drink – there’s also seating in the Beer Garden at the top of the steps over The Front Lawn.
