Andrea Giraud
Born and raised by a winegrower family in the heart of the vineyard of Cognac, France, Andrea has been immersed in the world of fine wine and spirits at an early age. With a passion for languages, she pursued her studies in Memphis, USA, and Sao Paulo, Brazil, which laid the foundation for her global perspective.
She then honed her expertise in the wine and spirit industry by obtaining a Master’s degree in Wine and Spirit Management in Bordeaux, where she had the privilege of being trained by some of the most esteemed Masters of Wine.
Her career began with a strong focus on Cognac, working with prestigious brands and competitors such as Hennessy and Camus. She later shifted her attention to Bordeaux’s renowned wine industry, gaining deep insights into marketing, communication, hospitality, and export. Over the past two years, she expanded her horizons to Australia, where she thrived in Sydney’s fine dining scene as a sommelier, mastering the art of wine pairing, and in some of the city’s most iconic wine shops.
Now, she embarks on a new chapter at Pernod Ricard, fully dedicating herself to Champagne - a true passion of hers. She is eager to share the French Art de vivre and her love for Champagne with the world.
