The field for the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup has been finalised.

Leading Australian-trained hopes Montefilia and Gold Trip and set to tackle the best that the country and the world has to offer in what promises to be an exciting race on Tuesday 1 November at Flemington.

The 24-horse strong field boasts the 2019 Lexus Melbourne Cup winner Vow and Declare and a leading international contender in Deauville Legend.
