Allora, known as the 'Best little town on the Downs', is a charming and interesting rural settlement with a large number of well preserved historic buildings. It is located at the point where the New England Highway crosses Dalrymple Creek.

Event details

The Cup Tour makes its way to Allora, QLD. First stop, St Patricks Primary School Visit. The VRC team will speak regarding the 2022 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, trophy and its meaning to Australasia and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.  Next stop, Allora Regional Sports Museum Visit, where there will be a Q&A session  on the Melbourne Cup experience. To end the day, the Tour Party will make its way to Allora State School.
