Watch leading Melbourne Cup Carnival contenders complete their final paces around the famous Flemington Track.

Members and racing fans are once again invited to the much-anticipated annual VRC Trackwork Breakfast. Join us at the break of dawn for a rare behind the scenes experience before the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Located in the Terrace Restaurant and Hill Stand seating deck, you will have the perfect vantage point to study some of the best thoroughbreds in the world and gain insights from prominent Flemington trainers as they prepare for the most important week in the Australian racing calendar.

Welcoming you to this popular event will be VRC Chairman Neil Wilson, along with special guests including Marc Ohlmus and Francesca Cumani, plus there'll be a live Q&A with Senior Manager of Flemington Racecourse, Liam O’Keeffe.

Complimentary tea, or coffee, and an egg and bacon roll will be available to all guests on arrival.

VRC Trackwork Breakfast proudly supports the VRC’s 2025 Pin & Win charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria and Tasmania, with 2025 Lexus Melbourne Cup souvenir pins available for purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to significant construction at Flemington in preparation for the Melbourne Cup Carnival, much of the site is in construction lockdown. For the safety of our members and guests, we require all attendees at the VRC Trackwork Breakfast to register their details for the event and present identification upon arrival.
