Judging: Grand Finals, Oaks Day
What will you be looking for in entrants?
I’ll be looking for a beautifully put together look that feels polished, elegant and appropriate for race day. I love seeing entrants embrace their own personal style while still respecting the traditions of racing fashion. It’s all about the complete look, from the outfit and millinery to the shoes and accessories. Attention to detail is so important, and I always appreciate someone who brings a little creativity and individuality to their outfit.
What do you love most about Fashions on the Field?
I love seeing how much thought and effort everyone puts into their outfits. It’s such a wonderful celebration of fashion, creativity and personal style. Racing fashion has such a unique sense of occasion, and I love that Fashions on the Field gives people the opportunity to really dress up, have fun and express themselves. It’s always inspiring to see the different interpretations of race day style.
Any advice for anyone thinking of entering?
Absolutely enter! My biggest advice is to wear something you feel confident and comfortable in. You don’t need to wear the most expensive outfit or follow every trend to stand out. It’s about putting together a look that feels authentic to you. Pay attention to the finishing touches, make sure your outfit is appropriate for the occasion and, most importantly, enjoy yourself. Confidence and a great smile can make all the difference!
Your next great race-day look could already be in your wardrobe.
