Christmas on the Roof Garden
The famous VRC Rooftop will be transformed to get in the Christmas spirit with a carvery station and themed cocktails. The scene will also be set with festive tunes and carols throughout the day.
Join us to celebrate the yuletide spirit at Flemington for VRC Christmas Race Day.
For our final race day of the year we embrace the joy and sense of community the festive season brings.
On the track the nine-race program will see some competitive fields, especially among the three-year-old races the Lexus Holiday Plate (1200m) and TAB App Trophy (1400m).
While off the course, enjoy live Christmas carolers and other Christmas themed entertainment, including Santa and his elves. Plus, the return of the Christmas Kingdom down in the Elms area, with special access for Phar Lap Club members.
Live musical entertainment after the last will add to the festivities of the day in The Roof Garden, The G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar and on the Members Lawn.

Santa's Playground
Our littlest members are invited to join in the fun and excitement of the Phar Lap Club Christmas Party. A kid’s wonderland with Santa’s Playground, a surprise appearance from Santa and his elves. There will be Christmas giveaways throughout the day and the kids can have a boogie at the Christmas Disco.
Phar Lap Club members will have the opportunity to become one of Santa's little helpers with plenty of arts and craft activities including Letters to Santa, Christmas colouring and Christmas gift bag decorating. All kids under 12 welcome, with complimentary sign up to Phar Lap Club membership taken on the day.
Members Lawn
Looking for a relaxing spot to soak up the sunny rays? Grab a spot on the lush lawn just outside The Club Stand and sit back, relax and take in all the racing action. And families are well catered for with super-fun games and activities for everyone’s enjoyment.

Away from the hustle and bustle, you can relax in comfort, enjoy the racing and watch the kids enjoy the fun-filled activities on offer, including face painting, pony rides and lawn games.
The Lounge
Witness every finish while relaxing with mates in The Lounge inside Saintly Place West. With quick access out to the Winning Post, billiards and foosball, The Lounge is a great spot to enjoy all the racing action and a day of socialising with mates.

2006 Group 1 Cox Plate Winner Fields of Omagh and Group 1 VRC Sprint Classic winner Santa Ana Lane will be joining us on course. See these champions of the turf as they parade around the Mounting Yard after races 1 and 4 and feed them a carrot or two in the horse stalls throughout the day.
