Flemington will erupt with excitement on The Seppelt Wines All-Star Mile race day when the richest 1600m race in the world returns to racing headquarters. It's the only race in Australia where you choose the horses that run.

Every racegoer who attends Flemington on The Seppelt Wines All-Star Mile race day has the opportunity to win $250,000* with one lucky patron to be named as the owner ambassador for the Peter Moody-trained Lightsaber. The owner ambassador will receive a portion of the prize pool, depending on where he finishes.

Join us for a thrilling race day and witness who will win The Seppelt Wines All-Star Mile in 2022. Plus, it’s your last chance to experience the gourmet delights and vintage carnival atmosphere of the Flemington Fareground.

Superstar Zaaki lived up to his favouritism with a barnstorming victory in the feature event.

SEPPELT WINES ALL-STAR MILE

Zaaki an All-Star in the richest mile race in the world

Flemington superstar Zaaki has turned in a phenomenal performance to win the Seppelt Wines All-Star Mile.

Trained by Annabel Neasham and ridden brilliantly by Jamie Kah from the outside barrier, Zaaki streeted an outstanding field that include 10 Group 1 winners.

It was also a big payday for Owner Ambassador Nick Bouseka who voted in the All-Star Mile and then drew Zaaki. He is now $250,000 richer.
