VRC Members Race Day was about celebrating the loyal members of the Victoria Racing Club.

The nine-race card saw Victoria’s apprentice jockeys shine in the RMBL Investments Rising Stars Final (1400m), the Flemington Cup 1849 (2800m) celebrates the Club’s long and fruitful history while the only dedicated 1800m race for two-year-olds at Flemington occurred with the running of The Byerley Handicap (1800m), offering ballot exemption into the Kennedy Oaks for fillies or the Penfolds Victoria Derby for colts and geldings.

A windy winter's day at Flemington for VRC Members Day with two of Australia's leading jockeys riding doubles.

Jamie Kah was outstanding late in the program riding a back to back double with Hezashocka in the VRC Members Handicap followed by Daytona Bay in the K.A Morrison Handicap.

Craig Williams also claimed a double, taking out the Flemington Cup on Horrifying before guding the favourite Squid Game to victory down the Flemington Straight.
