The all-black type race schedule is considered a solid guide for predicting future Melbourne Cup Carnival champions. The Group 1 TAB Turnbull Stakes boasts $1,000,000 in prizemoney, and is the first feature 2000m race of spring at Flemington. It’s joined by The Lexus Bart Cummings which offers prizemoney of $750,000 with the winner earning a ‘Golden Ticket’ straight into the great race itself: the 2021 Lexus Melbourne Cup.
